La Esperanza Child Development Center LLC is a 5-star early childhood education center that provides a routine, instruction, curriculum, and, most important, love to our children. Our primary customers are working families that need full-time care and education for their children while they work. In 2017, we noticed that childcare was becoming very expensive and hard to afford for our working middle-class families; therefore, we voluntarily decided to apply for the NM PreK grants to lower the cost of childcare to our full-time working families. The grant covers 900 hours of instruction from mid-August to mid-May. The weekly tuition is reduced to $130, which covers a maximum of 10 hours of teaching and care from Monday to Friday. This grant is subject to cancelation due to New Mexico funding or La Esperanza’s voluntary cancelation if the NM PreK regulations enforce requirements that affect the operations and financials of the program.
