We are pleased to have been awarded a state grant to open a New Mexico Early Prek class for three-year-olds and NM PreK classes for four-year-olds in the community. These programs are completely free of charge and run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and on Wednesday, we have early release from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm from mid-August to mid-May. We want to inform you that our main enrollment is families that need full-time care and teaching. Our philosophy is to offer full-day early childhood education services for working families; therefore, the NM PreK and Early PreK spots in our Rio Rancho center come with wrap-around care before 9:00 am and after 3:00 pm (1:00 pm on Wednesday) with an extra charge. We have a few spots in our Albuquerque center that offers only the hours of the NM PreK and Early PreK grant. Please call 505-891-2755 for more information or click here to schedule a virtual tour.

The New Early Prek and NM PreK schedule will follow the Albuquerque Public School schedule. It was a very competitive grant and what we believed to be a long shot but we got it. We are very excited because this allowed us to extend services to children in the community without current access to an early education program.
La Esperanza NM Early PreK and NM PreK will focus on school readiness and provide developmentally appropriate activities to children. To qualify for the NM Early PreK, children must have reached their third (3rd) birthday but not older than four years old before 12:01 a.m., September 1st of the current school year. To qualify for NM PreK, children must have reached their fourth (4th) birthday but not older than five years old before 12:01 am, September 1st of the current school year.
