We at La Esperanza Child Development Center, LLC. are dedicated to your baby’s safety and early development. Our facility is safe and our programs use the most effective infant and toddler activities to nurture your baby’s social, cognitive and emotional development.
A Supportive Environment with Safe Infant Toddler Activities
We understand the impact that a baby’s first year has on their overall physical, social, cognitive and emotional development. Our infant care center doesn’t just feed your baby and change their diapers—we are committed to nurturing, playing and interacting with your child in a way that promotes healthy development.
The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed to help teachers and caregivers implement developmentally appropriate practices and offer responsive daily routines and meaningful experiences that nurture learning and development.
Our caregiver to baby ratio is 1:4. This is the lowest in the Rio Rancho area and it allows us to give your baby the attention he or she needs for healthy growth in a safe, clean, supportive environment.
We use an app to track your infant and toddler’s milestone moments so you don’t miss a beat in your precious child’s life. You will receive notification to stay connected to your baby. Our caregivers also keep track of their food intake and eating habits to keep you in the loop. We’ve created checklists and assessment tools to help you understand your child’s progress.
A Clean, Safe, Fun Infant Care Facility
Our infant classroom is broken up into two sections. One section is for babies that are not yet crawling or walking and the other is for those that are. This provides greater safety measures for your little one. Your baby or toddler will engage in infant toddler activities that promote healthy development in an affectionate, supportive environment.
A Caring, Knowledgeable Staff
Our infant caregivers understand that the first three years of life are crucial to the development of a child’s brain. This is because brains are shaped by the extent to which children experience themselves as being loved and safe. Our infant teachers possess immense knowledge and have amazing hearts for babies. We have high standards for our caregivers. Each caregiver must fulfill at least 45 hours of child growth development training, 24 hours of professional development training, 12 college credit hours in early child development and CPR/First Aid training and certification. They must pass a criminal background check.
