Rio Rancho Child Education Classrooms
La Esperanza Child Development Center, LLC is a preschool learning center; we are committed to nurturing the minds of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old with exceptional child education. All of our teachers are highly experienced and have fulfilled at least 45 hours of basic child growth development training, 24 hours of professional development training and 12 college credit hours in early childhood education. They are pediatric/adult CPR and First Aid certified. Since 88% of our staff is bilingual, we are able to offer bilingual childcare. Every caregiver must pass a fingerprint and background check in order to ensure the safest standards for your child.
The curriculum we offer is broken up by age group so that each child receives relevant and age-appropriate education. Our goal is to prepare your children to have the cognitive, social and emotional skills necessary to excel in K-12 education.
Pre-K Preparation Goals
We take each child’s emotional and social makeup into account and we offer a curriculum that is appropriate for each age-level. Our curriculum will prepare your child for K-12 education by giving them a solid academic foundation. Basic curriculum includes teaching your child the alphabet, phonics, how to recognize lower and upper case letters, numbers, patterns, follow instructions and work with their peers.
The Classrooms
We offer an extremely low teacher to student ratio so your children receive the personal attention and care they need. We have 4 primary classrooms:
- Infant Classroom: The Infant room is broken up into two sections: one section for babies who can’t crawl or walk and another section for babies who can.
- Twos Classroom: In the Twos classroom, we introduce 2-3 year olds to basic math, literacy and social skills.
- Preschool Classroom: The preschool learning center is equipped with educational computer games, hands on activities and educational tools that will effectively prepare your child for kindergarten.
- School Age Classroom: We offer teacher in-service and winter/summer programs that offer fun educational lessons for children under the age of 12.
- NEW Kindergarten Classroom: starting 2011-2012 school year: This is a new program offered to those children who miss the September first cut off date, and are academically, socially and emotionally ready to enter kindergarten. Children must pass a test in order to enroll in the program. The test is not required for children who are already five before September first.
Extra Fun Activities
